Chao praya The river of life in Bankok

The main river for Thailand is Chaophraya , Chaophraya begins at Nakhonsawan province and flows through center region Thailand and flows out at Thai gulf, We have lived our lives with river for a long time.

Chaophraya river is born from 4 rivers, Ping, Wan, Yom and Nan ,they flow against into Chaophraya river at Tambol Paknampho in Nakhonsawan province.
Along time ago,It had many culture beteew at 2 side river, Ayutthaya, It use transport,travel, liveing,commer and military, but today war from Chaophraya river it have not war.

Today, Chaophraya river in Bangkok is used for transportation,travel, living,commer. It can be said that Chaophraya river gives Bangkok a life .

In Pranakorn side, there are more historically and culturally important places but on the opposite side, called Thonburi, there are more modern places.

If you have a chance to come to Thailand ,you should take a tour around Chaophaya river.

The Weather and Season in Thailand

I had plan to take some photos around Bangkok .But this month ,it rains everyday, so I temporarily delay my photo-taking plan until the end of rainy season.

So, today I will write article about weather and season in thailand.

How many season are there in Thailand? This is article will explain about season and weather of Thailand

The Weather and Season in Thailand Thailand is located near aclinic line and that makes Thailand a hot country (tropical climate), Approximated temperature is about 20-30 C.

In Thailand, there are 2 or 3 seasons depending on region.

Summer season period is from February to April.
Rainy season period is from May to October.
Winter season period is from November to January.

Talking about Bangkok, there's a joke in Thailand, He says Bangkok has 2 kinds of climate, hot and very hot. In Bangkok, the chance to have temperature below 22 C is very low, There's such weather only around a few weeks in a year .

However, Thailand has many geography so south region of Thailand has only 2 seasons, summer and rainy season.

Summer season period is from May to September.

Rainy season period November-April.

Because the south region of Thailand is located between 2 seas, Thai gulf and Andaman sea, so it rains almost all year.

Lastly, if you want to come to Thailand for sunbathe on bask on the beach, please don't come in rainy season, becuase you can not see any sunshine but you can see nimbus or blackcloud .

Where is Thailand in the world. Thailand is located in southeast Asia, has approximate 513,000 km2 (198,000 sq mi) surface area.
North border is by Laos and Burma, the east by Laos and Cambodia, the south by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, and the west by the Andaman Sea and Burma.


The capital of Thailand is Bangkok but thai people call it "Krung Thep". However, Krung thep is shortname, Formal name of Krung Thep is "Krungthepmahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilokphop Noppharatratchathaniburirom Udomratchaniwetmahasathan Amonphimanawatansathit Sakkathattiyawitsanukamprasit" , and nobody call it by this name in his lifetime.

If you are foreigner, when you come to Thailand ,you should say "Bangkok" so that everybody (may be) can understand .However, nowadays Thai people barely say the word "Bangkok" anymore, they'd rather use "Krung Thep" instead.
